The 2007 CaliforniaCats football Watch Parties came to a conclusion with K-States loss to Fresno State on November 24th. Instead of gathering for a Watch Party, we went on a Road Trip to Fresno with over 150 Californians representing the CaliforniaCats at the game and 60 at the pre-game party - what a show of support for the team and University. The pictures from the pre-game, game and post game events show K-Staters of all ages having fun with fellow alums.

The game itself was a microcosm of what we saw all season long, poor tackling and blocking, fear to pass the ball downfield for some inexplicable reason, obvious lack of communication between coaches and between players. What a disappointment for a team whose season began so promising. Saturday saw fewer penalties but when they came, such as, the personal foul of running into the kicker which ultimately resulted in a Fresno State touchdown and a beautiful long pass (a rarity) by Freeman that would have been a touchdown but was called back which were especially demoralising .

Our seats were actually quite good as we were in the corner of the end zone and high enough up to get a good look of the field. Naturally 50-yard line seats would have been preferable. Most of the scoring occurred at our end of the field with two long runs from Johnson and Patton along with the almost long touchdown pass late in the game so we were happy.
