Amy Button Renz, president of the Kansas State Alumni Association, along with Greg Willems, President of the Kansas State Foundation visited with K-Staters on the evening of July 18th at Skool restaurant in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood. The event was very well attended with over forty enjoying a beautiful San Francisco outdoor patio reception seeing old friends and making new acquaintences. K-Staters travelled from all over the Bay Area. Amy gave an update on the latest happenings on campus including various capital improvements such as the new Business and College of Architecture buildings while Greg spoke about the state of the university strategic plan that describes the institutional aspirations and goals for K-State in 2025, Greg also spoke about the recent addition of Richard B. Myers as University President. The event concluded with questions and answers from Amy and Greg. Many thanks to Strata Landscape Architects who sponsored the event.
