The weather was perfect on Wednesday, November 2nd, as K-State’s men’s golf team wrapped up their season participating in the University of the Pacific’s – Pacific Invitational, a 54-hole tournament at the Brookside Country Club. Joining K-State and host Pacific were BYU, Oregon State, Fresno State, Nevada, UC Davis, Denver, Marquette, UNC Charlotte, Cal Poly, Colorado State.

In the field of twelve schools the Cat’s finished sixth. Oregon State edged Nevada in a playoff for the team title, and Wolf Pack senior Kevin Lucas birdied the par-5 18th to top one of his playing partners, Oregon State senior Alex Moore, by one stroke.

As past winners of the tournament K-State receives an automatic invitation. Coach Tim Norris said he looks forward to bringing his team back next year.
